Scope of Work

EIS implemented Oracle JD Edwards 8.11SP1, web based, for two of CFAO’s business units: CAPSTONE and SFCE.
The project comprised the implementation of the financials and distribution modules as well as the development of documents, specific applications and interfaces. EIS also provided CNC (technical) consultancy services on the implementation of the technical setup.

Value Delivered

Standardising and harmonising the procurement process for a large number of industries was the key challenge on this project.  Whilst replacing the existing IT application, EIS also had to ensure proper interfacing with third party applications: HYPERION (MIS) , KYRIBA (Treasury) and EPISOFT (Bank Reconciliation).

The project allowed SFCE and CAPSTONE to move away from a restrictive mainframe environment to a modern user centric web based IT environment.

Many manual, excel based, processes were computerized. Data input errors have been significantly reduced and an enhanced security level achieved.
